We all know that giving back is good for the soul. It’s important to me to make a meaningful difference on a personal level and one of the reasons I became a designer. Maybe you feel the same way and also support causes near and dear to your heart.

The beasts
Fifi’s Friends Rescue at Laughing Dog Farm is a small no-kill dog rescue and 501(c)(3) non-profit located in the picturesque mountain-town of Bakersville, NC, founded and run by Pam Jezik. They have LOTS of dogs in need, but not a lot of resources.

Fifi’s Friends Rescue at LDF is a refuge and haven for broken, lost, surrendered, found, doomed-to-die dogs. With loving care, they transform into beautiful and healthy souls who, often for the first time ever, learn what it is to just be a dog, and all the love-lavishing, funny, sweet, playful, charming, and loyal kinship that comes along with it.
Generous friends and supporters recently donated this amazing kennel for the dogs. The rescue needs ongoing support to keep the power running in the kennel and provide food and healthcare for the dogs.

About Roc Solid
Roc Solid is committed to building hope for every child and family fighting pediatric cancer. They distribute Ready Bags to families just after they hear the devastating news that their child has cancer, and then provides backyard playsets so kids have a safe place to play during treatment.
Roc Solid currently partners with more than 120 children’s hospitals to distribute Ready Bags, and playsets have been provided to thousands of kids fighting cancer in almost every state across the U.S.
